Ankr Enterprise RPC Services Goes Live on Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace

Blockchain infrastructure provider Ankr has recently launched its Enterprise RPC services on Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace, enabling customers of the cloud computing platform to easily access blockchain infrastructure. This collaboration aims to provide global, low-latency blockchain connections to assist enterprises in building and scaling their Web3 projects and applications.

Ankr’s RPC service will serve as a gateway to blockchain infrastructure, offering enterprises a readily accessible solution. By leveraging Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace, Ankr aims to abstract away the impediments associated with testing, deploying, and scaling Web3 projects seamlessly. The partnership between Ankr and Microsoft also introduces a new solution called ‘AppChains,’ allowing enterprises to deploy their dedicated and fully customizable blockchains.

Preparing for the Surge in Demand

With the launch of Enterprise RPC services, Ankr is anticipating a surge in clients and is actively preparing its resources to meet the increasing demand. Peter Stewart, Ankr’s Head of Infrastructure, expressed excitement about the collaboration with Microsoft, emphasizing the exceptional user-friendliness and performance achieved through their joint efforts. The partnership between the two companies holds significant promise for the future of Ankr’s Enterprise RPC service.

“Our collaboration with the Microsoft team to launch the Enterprise RPC service was highly rewarding. Together, we ensured exceptional user-friendliness and performance. This partnership has been remarkable, and we are excited for the future of our Enterprise RPC service.”

Daniel An, Microsoft’s Web3 & AI Director of Business Development, highlighted the goal of the collaboration: to provide enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure on the Azure Marketplace. By offering a comprehensive suite of tools and infrastructure, Microsoft and Ankr aim to meet the evolving needs of enterprise customers and developers in the Web3 space. The partnership with Ankr reinforces Microsoft’s commitment to empowering businesses in adopting blockchain technology.

“We are excited to partner with Ankr to bring enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure to Azure Marketplace. We look forward to helping enterprise customers and developers meet their evolving infrastructure and tooling needs in Web3.”

Building on a Strong Foundation

The recent launch of Enterprise RPC services on Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace builds upon the existing partnership between Ankr and Microsoft. In February, the two companies joined forces, and Tencent, a China-based tech giant, also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ankr to develop blockchain API services. These collaborations demonstrate the growing recognition and interest in blockchain technology among major industry players.

Despite the latest developments, Ankr’s total value locked (TVL) has not experienced significant changes. According to data from DeFiLlama, Ankr currently records a TVL of just over $143 million. While the TVL remains steady, the launch of Enterprise RPC services signifies a significant step forward for Ankr in expanding its offerings and attracting a wider user base.

The December 2022 hack incident, involving a former Ankr employee, did not have a substantial impact on the company’s progress. Ankr continues to focus on providing secure and reliable blockchain solutions, emphasizing its commitment to safeguarding customer assets.
