Tron (TRX) Hits A New Milestone: 100 Million Transactions Processed On The Network

Tron’s founder Justin Sun has recently unveiled via Twitter that the TRX network has processed more than 100 million transactions.

In his tweet, Sun also placed a link to a TRX block explorer that shows the token has indeed processed so many transactions.

This really high transaction volume most likely comes from the dApps in the Tron ecosystem.

Tron’s ecosystem

DappRadar reported that eight out of ten most popular dApps developed on Tron’s network are gambling dApps and the other two are decentralized crypto exchanges.

As you already know, the most prominent dApp in Tron ecosystem is TRONBet.

TRONBet was the very first dApp that was launched on the Tron blockchain.

We reported back then that only during its first day after it was released, it was played over 10,000 times. So far, according to its website it has paid out more than 10 million TRX.

This game gained so much popularity that it was able to help Tron overtake Ethereum in terms of daily transaction volume.

At the moment, there are about 850,000 accounts on the crypto’s blockchain, reports TronScan. Its dApps users surpass the ones of Ethereum.

There’s also another TRX gambling dApp that’s called TronDice which managed to gain massive success as well.

It paid out more than $4 million TRX as of November. In order to be able to play these games, users will have to create a TronLink wallet, fund it and then eventually connect it.

Justin Sun made another essential announcement, and he said that an upcoming TRX update would make the crypto 200x faster than ETH.

In November Sun also claimed that TRX would enjoy enhanced privacy at the beginning of 2019.

Tron completes phase four of the Tronics Support Plan

The Tron Foundation has recently proudly announced the completion of Phase Four of the Tronics Support Plan.

Now, they are also planning to give back more than 96 million TRX coins from the 13th, 13th, and 15th addresses.

All of these three addresses will be removed from the list of locked addresses by the Tron Foundation.
