IOTA Discusses Its Collaboration With AUDI, Explaining The Positive Results
The IOTA Foundation made sure to announce the community during the past weekend that its partnership with auto manufacturer Audi shows positive results, so their efforts have not been in vain.
Exploring emerging technologies like IOTA
The team detailed the results of the final project to a selected audience in Ingolstadt and Berlin as well.
This presentation has been successful and provided another example of why it’s so important to explore the emerging technologies such as IOTA with a new approach which focuses on customers.
A few months ago, Audi Denkwerkstatt and the IOTA Foundation decided to team up in order to explore the opportunities of the IOTA tech and do their best to solve real-world use cases which involve mobility-related issues, IoT and automotive.
Now, after five months have passed, the team came to present its effort, and the IOTA Foundation claimed the following:
“The presentation was a success, and it was yet another example of the importance to explore new technologies like IOTA with a customer-centric approach.”
Details of the project
During the first weeks of the project, Audi dedicated itself to research, and the company interviewed domain experts in order to define the problem and solution space.
This was during the exploration phase, and after this came to an end, the team worked with experts in stealth mode in order to make sure that they can successfully finalize the first prototype, collect user feedback and also progress further to a product market fit.
There was also a team from the IOTA foundation which worked as consultants to the auto manufacturer and helped them on technology, use cases, and business models.
Audi’s Malte Schönefeld had only praising words for IOTA’s team:
“Exploring new topics is always exciting, and it requires excellent teamwork and dedication to really get something done within six months.”
This also happened vice-versa as well because IOTA’s Janine Härtel appreciated the track record of Audi, and, more than that, said she was proud to work with them.
